Gibbon Packing, LLC, an American Foods Group Company, has an opportunity for a Fabrication Maintenance Lead Person at our Gibbon, NE plant.

As a Fabrication Maintenance Lead Person, you will

• Oversee all mechanical aspects of the Fabrication Department.
• Provide work direction to maintenance assistants or helpers.
• Maintain minimal production down time and solutions to reduce downtime.
• Schedule preventative maintenance.
• Support continuous improvements.
• Support cost reduction.
• Account for tools, utensils, and other potentially dangerous equipment that are distributed on a daily basis.
• Develop and maintain effective employee relations.
• Professional team building
• Encourage teamwork and learning.
• Maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance.
• Monitor the cleanliness of the shop work area.
• Ensure all Food Safety, SQF, and Safety policies are followed.
• Making sure all employees are wearing proper PPE specific to their job areas.

Minimum Qualifications (Required)

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to work in a variety of work temperatures warm, hot humid, cold, wet or with slippery surfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Must be able to perform the job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be able to successfully complete training.
