About the Team:

The Tax Associate will support the income tax compliance and financial tax reporting at Pandora for NAM (US and Canada).

This role will report to NAM tax manager. This role is a hybrid in office three days a week. The ideal candidate will partner closely with business partners to support business tax compliance and tax reporting. This role is an amazing opportunity to support a growing North American business, gain tax experience in various areas of our growing business.

Your Role as a Tax Associate:

• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare tax returns and other reports for US and foreign jurisdictions
• Prepares tax return workpapers and calculates federal, state and local estimated tax payments
• Assists with the preparation of quarterly financial tax provision calculations and analysis
• Reconciles tax accounts, prepares documentation and appropriate journal entries
• Analyzes and summarizes financial and accounting information for tax issues, and prepares reports and memos
• Assists with coordination, tracking, and management of tax compliance and other matters
• Compiles information for US federal, state and local tax audits
• Interacts with various other departments within PANDORA regarding tax and
• accounting matters
• Participates in special tax projects and performs other duties as required

• Previous related tax and accounting experience (3-5 years)
• Broad knowledge of corporate income taxation, accounting for income taxes under GAAP and/or IFRS, applications and accounting systems,
• Ability to prioritize work and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Clear attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excellence in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in online tax research tools
• Experience working in ERP
• Public Accounting experience is preferred,
• International tax experience is preferred.

Maryland Salary : $80,000 - $90,000 commensurate with experience

The Pandora North America team in the USA & Canada consists of more than 115 employees working at our offices in New York & Baltimore, more than 80 in our Logistics Center in Columbia, Maryland, an additional 100 in field positions, and more than 3,900 in our owned and operated stores.

Today, the USA is Pandora’s single largest market. The Pandora North American region as a whole encompasses over 1,400 points of sale, including over 420 concept stores, with more than 300 being owned and operated by Pandora.
