We are currently seeking an energetic, driven and innovative professional to join our Talent Acquisition team at Ferrara Candy Company. This role will support all facets of our corporate and campus recruiting processes and be one of the key contributors for a best-in-class interview experience for our internal employees, external candidates and people leaders. Our recruiting team is responsible for identifying top quality talent at all levels and matching them up with great opportunities at the organization. The Coordinator is essential to our team by delivering operational support and ensuring the highest level of candidate and hiring manager care all while gaining exposure to multiple teams and leaders across the company.

This position reports to the Head of Talent Acquisition.

The role is based in Chicago, IL.

Ways you will make a difference

  • Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers and candidates throughout the full recruiting lifecycle.
  • Manage the end-to-end candidate interview lifecycle.
  • Coordinate candidate travel arrangements and expense reimbursement processes.
  • Assist with execution of offer and pre-hire paperwork to ensure all new hire requirements are delivered to candidates and completed in a timely manner
  • Assist with process improvement and efficiency initiatives by sharing ideas and taking ownership of improvement projects.
  • Contribute to company-wide hiring and HR initiatives. Share responsibility for improving the overall Talent Acquisition function by increasing knowledge, taking on new responsibilities, and suggesting new and improved approaches.
  • Directly support the quality of on campus recruiting events with the following activities that include but not limited to: posting positions, registering for career fairs, arranging class room visits/information sessions, catering orders, reserving interview rooms.
  • Understand and demonstrate the Company’s core values. Be an ambassador of our culture.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and consulting skills. Ability to partner with senior level management and consult them on all aspects of the recruitment process
  • Ability to juggle and resolve ambiguous, confidential and sensitive situations and issues
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Unusual attention to detail

Experiences that will support your success

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources
  • 1-2 years of corporate or agency recruiting/HR experience preferred
  • Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
