Sr Manager/Director of Expansion

Oula is redesigning maternity care from the ground up. Our modern maternity centers combine the best of obstetrics and midwifery care to deliver a more evidence-based and personalized pregnancy experience. From our patient-centered medical team, welcoming clinic, and remote care platform, we are setting a new standard for pregnancy care that unifies modern medicine and human intuition. Our first clinic opened in Brooklyn in 2021. We've since opened a second clinic in downtown Manhattan with plans for more Oula clinics to come.

About the role:

We are looking for a Director of Expansion to join our growing maternity care company and lead new clinic and new market expansion. We're searching for an individual who is passionate about building and scaling a mission driven start-up focused on delivering patient-centric care to pregnant individuals and their growing families.

This team member will be responsible for leading new clinic and new market launches for Oula, ensuring that we grow quickly and efficiently, without compromising our brand or top notch level of patient care. This role is for a key connector and executor, liaising across various functions within the company. This is the perfect opportunity for an individual that is excited to expand Oula's best-in-class maternity care experience, starting in New York and soon after, nationally.

This is a full time position and is fully remote. This is a benefits-eligible position and the compensation range is 135,000-180,000 as part of a competitive compensation package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Refine Oula's new clinic/market launch playbook, with the goal of streamlining Oula's expansion into a highly scalable and just-in-time system.
  • Identify and resolve any cross-functional issues impacting Oula's ability to replicate its initial clinic, and work with others to ensure new clinics deliver a best-in-class pregnancy experience.
  • Manage a weekly operating cadence with a wide variety of stakeholders, including operations, clinical, product and marketing teams, to review weekly priorities, issues and risks to ensure new clinics/new markets are launched on time.
  • Manage team of construction, design and facility vendors
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure local engagement between Oula's brand and potential patient population ahead of launch.
  • Collaborate with people to accelerate hiring

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or MBA
  • 5-6 years of experience leading operations in high growth healthcare or hospitality/service brand or must have at least 2-3 years experience leading new location openings and launch plans

Oula offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, and comprehensive benefits. Exact compensation inclusive of salary and any bonuses is determined based on a number of factors including experience and skill level, location, and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process. Salary Range

$135,000—$180,000 USD
