SQL DBA

Our client in New York City is seeking a SQL DBA. This is a full time, direct hire role with a very well-established company.

Prior law firm industry experience is strongly preferred. This position will work on a hybrid model (3 days week onsite, 2 days a week remote).

Qualified Candidates Will Have Most Of The Following Experience

  • Manage and optimize Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and security configurations.
  • Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Monitor system health, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions.
  • Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.
  • Configure and manage DNS and DHCP servers, ensuring seamless network connectivity and resource allocation.
  • Implement and enforce network security policies and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, maintaining network uptime and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest networking technologies and best practices.
  • Provide technical support to internal users for both system and network-related issues.
  • Document technical processes and procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical challenges.
