AMO Denim is seeking an ambitious and creative individual to join our marketing team as a Social Media Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for curating compelling content for our social media platforms, actively engaging with our online community, and collaborating with influencers. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's online presence and fostering meaningful connections with our audience.

This is a hybrid position requiring presence in our office a minimum of one day a week and availability to attend photoshoots and events as needed.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the social media calendar, daily posting, and performance monitoring to ensure creative quality and cohesion.
  • Create visually compelling posts, stories, videos, and content for various platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
  • Maintain knowledge of social media best practices and trends across channels, with an eye on competitors, emerging channels, and tactics.
  • Maintain and nurture the AMO Denim online community by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and fostering meaningful conversations.
  • Implement strategies to grow our online community by identifying opportunities to increase follower engagement, reach new audiences, and cultivate relationships with influencers and brand advocates.
  • Identify and collaborate with the right influencers and brand ambassadors to enhance our online presence and reach new audiences.
  • Manage the shipping of influencer orders and log all delivered assets.
  • Guide influencer creative based on brand know-how and social best practices.
  • Help produce photo and video behind-the-scenes style content during photoshoots.
  • Ensure brand consistency in messaging, voice, and aesthetics across all social media
  • platforms.
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed.


Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of social media experience in a marketing setting.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or journalism is preferred.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop,
  • Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience with social media management tools and platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative mindset with a strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience working with influencers and brand partnerships is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
