Job Description
Oversee the estimation process for interior federal government construction projects.
Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to develop precise cost estimates and proposals.
Examine project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine project requirements and scope.
Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
Offer guidance and mentorship to junior estimators and team members.
Review and assess subcontractor bids and proposals.
Participate in project kick-off meetings and assist with project planning and scheduling.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to federal government construction.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Over 10 years of experience in federal construction, with a strong focus on interior projects.
Demonstrated success in estimating and managing federal government contracts.
Experience mentoring and guiding junior team members.
In-depth knowledge of federal procurement processes and regulations.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Proficient in relevant estimating software and tools.

Base Salary: 120,000-150,000 USD (depending on experience)
