The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is the sixth largest transportation system in the United States, with a vast network of fixed route services including bus, subway/elevated, trackless trolley, light rail, and commuter rail serving a 2,200 square mile service region.
We are currently seeking to hire a Senior Project Engineer (Overhead Catenary System) (1014) - in the MOW/Power Department. This position will be based at our Headquarters in Center City, Philadelphia.

Starting Salary: $112,476.00
Additional $5,000 salary increase for having a Pennsylvania PE License.
SEPTA’s Power Engineering group is seeking a highly motivated Senior OCS Engineer to serve as the technical lead for all of SEPTA’s overhead contact system (OCS) design, construction, and maintenance projects.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor Degree or higher from an accredited College or University in relevant engineering field, e.g., Civil, Mechanical, Electrical etc. and seven (7) years of proven relevant engineering experience designing Overhead Contact Systems.
