About The Team

Roku’s Partner Growth team is responsible for managing content partner relationships, setting a growth strategy, and scaling top partners on the platform.

About The Role

In this role, you will be joining Partner Growth’s Business Intelligence function, where you will help grow Roku’s business by tracking industry trends, evaluating and benchmarking performance for our most important content partners, and support Partner Growth Managers to define partnership growth strategies and drive new monetization opportunities. This includes strategic involvement across the entire partner lifecycle, from distribution deal, app launch, international expansions, and on-going efforts to scale key metrics for our partners.

You will collaborate internally with cross-functional teams (e.g. Financial Planning & Analysis, Content Distribution, Core Analytics, Subscriptions, Inventory Optimization) to identify and quantify strategic opportunities, and support external partner activities (e.g. business reviews).

The ideal candidate has a strong analytical background and is comfortable manipulating large data sets to extrapolate actionable insights. They build collaborative relationships and communicate complex ideas in a simple way that resonates with various stakeholders. A successful Senior Partner Growth Associate is intellectually athletic, thrives in ambiguity and is willing to roll up their sleeves to design and execute a solution when no playbook exists. Must be passionate about TV.

For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $108,000 and $162,000 annually.

Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conduct thorough streaming industry analyses utilizing internal and third-party data to identify risks and opportunities across subscriptions and advertising-supported business models
  • Facilitate executive decision-making in the Streaming Services Distribution and Subscriptions organization by delivering comprehensive metrics on subscriber and/or partner acquisition, retention, engagement, and overall value, as well as preparing other key deliverables tailored for executive review
  • Drive strategic growth by defining, tracking, and benchmarking key partner metrics, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to uncover and assess business opportunities through data-driven insights
  • Execute financial deal models and strategy development, ensuring optimal structuring and execution of content distribution economics
  • Monitor and track critical revenue streams and partner KPIs, leveraging this data to craft and refine go-to-market strategies that capitalize on growth opportunities identified through comprehensive macro analysis
  • Perform other ad-hoc strategic and/or data-oriented projects and responsibilities

We’re excited if you have

  • 4+ years of experience in a top management consulting firm and/or media / entertainment / tech company in a strategy / analytical role
  • Understanding of U.S. streaming landscape, plus comprehension of video streaming business models (MVPD, TVE, SVOD, AVOD, TVOD) and the content ecosystem
  • Experience conducting quantitative analysis (including complex financial forecasting modeling) and qualitative analysis that can drive to insight and results using data
  • Exceptional financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency with MS Excel & PowerPoint; working knowledge of statistics and analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) 
  • Strong communication / presentation skills with a track record of presenting complex analyses to executives / senior management clearly and concisely
  • Will excel at managing multiple priorities, driving initiatives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and adeptly navigating through ambiguity to deliver results
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or another analytical field
