Senior Manager Tax and Audit

I am currently working with a global and reputable pharma who are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Tax and Audit to join their team! This individual will oversee the company's tax compliance and audit functions.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing tax and audit processes. This role is critical to ensuring our financial practices are robust, compliant, and aligned with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the tax compliance process, including preparation, review, and submission of tax returns and other required documentation.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
• Oversee internal and external audit processes, including planning, execution, and reporting
• Provide expert advice on tax planning, risk management, and audit issues to senior management.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax and audit professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in tax and audit. Candidates must have at least 1-2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• In-depth knowledge of tax regulations, accounting principles, and audit standards.
