Senior Manager of FP&A

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage the budget and forecast process, ensuring stakeholder involvement.
• Monitor and track forecast and budget performance against actuals.
• Develop and enhance variance reports for budget vs. actual insights.
• Communicate variance reports and resource utilization updates to internal departments.
• Analyze performance data, identify root causes, and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Produce monthly performance summaries, trend analyses, and pricing/discount analyses.
• Develop analytical models and proactive tools for performance monitoring.
• Implement exception reporting to identify outliers in key metrics.
• Enhance budget models for accurate and dynamic budgeting and forecasting.
• Supervise staff, including daily activities, performance monitoring, mentoring, and training.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cost efficiency and profitability.
• Communicate complex financial information to executive stakeholders through presentations and written communication.
• Monitor performance against targets and recommend adjustments.
• Generate ad hoc reports and analyses for senior leadership.
• Develop, maintain, and update templates for R&D contract reporting.
• Prepare and track revenues and costs by programs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• CPA or CFA certification
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Over 8 years of experience in analytical modeling and reporting
• At least 4 years of supervisory or management experience
• Proficient in transforming raw data into actionable formats for analysis
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Compensation: $155,000 - $175,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
