Senior Contracts Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contract Compliance Analyst to join our team in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization complies with all contractual obligations and regulatory requirements. This role involves analyzing contracts, monitoring compliance, and providing strategic recommendations to mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management, compliance, and risk assessment, coupled with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Review and Analysis: Thoroughly review and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
• Compliance Monitoring: Develop and implement compliance monitoring programs to track adherence to contract terms and conditions.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential compliance risks and provide strategic recommendations to mitigate these risks.
• Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
• Audit and Reporting: Conduct regular audits of contracts and prepare detailed compliance reports for senior management.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams on compliance requirements and best practices.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with legal, procurement, finance, and operational teams to ensure comprehensive contract compliance.
• Regulatory Updates: Stay updated on relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Issue Resolution: Address and resolve compliance-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the continuous enhancement of the compliance program.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP)) is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in contract compliance, contract management, or a related field.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of contract law, regulatory compliance, and risk management principles.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in using contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
