Senior Accounting Manager

District Partners has been engaged by a high-growth healthcare organization in the Nashville area as they are currently adding a new Senior Accounting Manager position to their team due to company growth. This position will report directly to the VP of Finance and will have regular interaction with the C-suite and PE partners. Our client is looking for someone with strong GL experience who is looking to get further skills development in the areas of FP&A and operations finance. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in public accounting (BIG 4 strongly preferred), as well as 3-4 years of experience in a multi-site healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversight of monthly close process
• Preparation and review of forecasts, budgets, and financial statements
• Partner with facility-level operations staff to gather timely data for KPI tracking and analysis
• Provide detailed process improvement and cost savings analysis for all assigned facilities
• Conduct trend analysis at a facility and consolidated level
• Review revenue, expenses, and prepare ad hoc reports in support of KPI analysis and operational decision support
• Review work or Senior level professionals, including conducting performance evaluations, mentoring, and training of new staff

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of public accounting experience (BIG4 highly preferred)
• Additional 3-4 years of healthcare industry experience in a multi-site environment
• CPA preferred
• PE-backed healthcare experience strongly preferred
