We are seeking a Research Associate/Sr. Research Associate candidate who has a strong scientific background and desire to work at the forefront of biological research and clinical test development. A BS degree or above and 2+ years of experience in immunoassays development (RUO or clinical diagnostics), molecular diagnostics development, or a related area is required.

Responsibilities:
Executes assay workflows with a focus on high-throughput, semi-automated platforms
Assists with experimental design
Assists in optimizing methods for handling and processing various types of clinical samples for assay development
May set up, calibrate and maintain laboratory and/or field research equipment,
Assists in data analysis, quality control, and data management
Requests or acquires equipment or supplies necessary for various projects
Collects and records data as need for various projects
May need to assist in the preparation of materials for submission to granting agencies, foundations and regulatory bodies
Performs miscellaneous lab-related duties
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline plus a minimum of 2 years of experience (industry preferred); OR
Masters degree with related academic research experience
Hands-on work experience with immunoassays (bulk and single-molecule methods) is strongly preferred
Hands-on experience with qPCR experimentation is strongly preferred
Proficiency in a variety of other molecular biology techniques is preferred
Experience working with clinical sample, especially blood, is a plus

Ability to follow instruction, learn, and grow in a mentorship setting
Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Desire to learn about and implement new technologies
Should possess strong presentational and interpersonal skills with the capability to establish collaborative working relationships and become a key contributor within the assay development, platform and product teams
