Position Information

The Regulator Affairs Coordinator/Assistant Manager covering a mat leave will ensure compliance and coordinate regulatory product registration worldwide. Guarantee that our brand Chantecaille meets global relevant cosmetic regulations, with frequent communication between global and local company. Owns portfolio maintenance responsibility, keeping tracking of all regulatory product changes, updating dossiers, artworks, and keeping all countries updated of any registration change and day to day activities.

Position Responsibilities:

REGULATORY AFFAIRS:

• Ensures timely and accurate product registration Globally

• Ownership of registration guidelines, processes and samples preparation

• Manage, assess, legalize and compile product data for all markets

• MoCRA updates and annual report

• Review documentation for accuracy and compliance with US and international markets

• Ensures that labels on products are compliant with relevant global regulations for our brand Chantecaille and gives advice to HQ for US labelling requirements

• Establish synergies and maintain information exchange with third party registration consultants, affiliates, and team members

• Coordinate formula compliance check and product registration/notification

• Coordinate the product portfolio maintenance, updating dossiers, artworks and registers

• Ensures solid procedures according to the cosmetic regulation requirements and product compliance

• Maintains and optimizes cosmetic system to keep track of all registration, new regulations, and government guidelines

• Update and maintain Product Information File (PIF) using the company system

• Gives advice to HQ regulatory functions on all Americas cosmetic laws and challenge consultants accordingly. Changes are timely communicated and stakeholders (Marketing, R&D, Corporate Regulatory) informed with clear direction, risk assessment and deadlines.

• Advice on best solution from regulatory point of view

• Actively manages projects to ensure compliance in region and exchange with our internal regulatory groups (La Prairie, BDF)

Global Topics:

o Product global registration – new products and portfolio maintenance

o Formula check review, build ILs and release process

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or above

• 3-5 years or above working experience in regulatory affairs, product registration and notification ideally in cosmetic or pharma industry

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas, and levels of business

• Proactive approach, while being detail and solution oriented, very well organized and having strong analytical skills
