$130,000 - $160,000 plus 15% bonus, LTI bonus, benefits package

A global, industry-leading chemical manufacturing company is seeking a Regional EHS Director to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join a stable organization, with a proactive EHS strategy, and also offers potential for future advancement.

Reporting directly into the Global EHS Director, this role will be responsible for a network of 7 manufacturing plants. This role will involve 30-40% travel throughout the United States, and can be located from any of the following sites:

• Cleveland, OH
• Pittsburgh, PA
• Dallas, TX
• Birmingham, AL
• Richmond, KY
• Bowling Green, KY
• Kankakee, IL

The Role:

• Providing strategic EHS leadership throughout multiple, PSM-regulated manufacturing facilities in this region – driving continuous improvement to EHS programs and performance, and ensuring the implementation of strategic EHS goals at these locations
• Providing mentoring, coaching and guidance to site-level EHS professionals throughout the region
• Driving risk reduction and employee engagement strategies throughout the region; lead and participate in EHS audits throughout the region, and aid sites in developing corrective action plans; drive the ongoing implementation of company EHS management systems throughout the region
• Ensure all sites are compliant with federal, state and local regulatory requirements relating to all areas of EH&S, including for Process Safety Management

The Candidate:

• 10+ years of relevant EHS experience, within industrial manufacturing environments
• Experience required with multi-site EHS management, with previous supervisory experience
• Demonstrated experience and success overseeing PSM-regulated facilities
• Experience with OSHA VPP implementation and recertification would be very desirable
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental, Safety, Occupational Health or similar related field
• Certifications such as CSP, CIH and CHMM would be preferred
