Responsibilities
Real Estate Attorney position. The ideal candidate must have a Florida Bar License and 3-8 years of commercial transactional real estate experience, including commercial real estate purchases, lending, and leasing. Experience on the development side. Responsibilities:
Experience working in a law firm with a substantial commercial real estate practice is preferred.
Must be conscientious, detail-oriented, and have exceptional analytical and writing skills.
Listening to and understanding the client's business objectives and then achieving those objectives within appropriate transaction documents is a requirement.
Preparing motions for default, summary judgment, discovery, and final judgment in hearings/trials.
Diligently and efficiently drafting leases in a fast-paced environment.
Providing legal support to the team for all lease/leasing-related matters including lease modifications and amendments.
Work with in-house counsels to review and edit purchase contracts.
Completes billing audits to ensure accuracy and/or compliance.
Obtain all reports for due diligence, review, and address any issues.
Advise on how to proceed with the property, either cancel or move forward with the purchase.
Establish and coordinate the closing, i.e. dates, documents, funding, etc.
Ensure we receive deed & title policies after closing.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Florida Bar License.
3-8 solid years of commercial transactional real estate experience, including commercial real estate purchases, lending, and leasing. Experience on the development side.
