Job Overview
Join our dedicated team of food innovators at Don Lee Farms, where you'll be at the cutting edge of fresh and frozen food production. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining formulations, specifications, labels, processes, and testing procedures. You will also integrate process knowledge into new product developments and manage various technical and project management tasks. Your contributions will help bring fresh and frozen products to thousands of retail, school districts, and food service locations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
R&D and Regulatory Compliance Manager
Develop and maintain specifications, FDA and USDA labels, processes, and testing procedures.
Lead new product development projects requiring knowledge of new processing technologies and product formulation.
Supervise bench-scale trials and commercialize new products.
Design processes for cost-effective manufacturing while ensuring product quality and accuracy.
Resolve development roadblocks and assist with new product launches.
Stay updated on the latest food processing technologies.
Integrate process knowledge into new product development.
Travel to Mansfield, TX, for product launches and ongoing development activities.
Skills and Abilities
Extensive experience in the food industry.
Proficiency in FDA and USDA labeling requirements, and knowledge of the School Lunch Program.
Regulatory expertise for new product development.
2+ years of hands-on experience in technical services and successful industrialization of new food products.
Passion for creating innovative and exciting food products.
Self-starter with a curious mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-centric environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy.
Excellent project management skills.
