Overview/Objective

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing production-related planning, logistics, and budgets for NFL Media. They collaborate with various departments to ensure strategic planning and decision-making regarding budgetary and operational execution. The Production Manager plays a crucial role in coordinating Remote, Original Content, Digital Media, and Studio productions, while maintaining effective communication and fostering collaboration across teams

Responsibilities

  • Participate in strategic planning for NFL Media's content departments, including budget development, technical staffing, schedules, and coordination for various types of productions.
  • Manage, monitor, and track daily budgets for all show components, ensuring proper communication between the Crew and the Production Management department.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments (NFL Media Production, HR, Finance, etc.) to ensure compliance with policies and facilitate effective communication of policy changes.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and forecasting of production-related budgets, identifying risks and opportunities for senior management.
  • Foster collaboration with internal departments and external entities to maximize efficiencies, such as Production and Operations teams.
  • Work with department leaders to execute logistical and budgetary development for new production initiatives and creative programming efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communication or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in production management as a Production Coordinator or above, preferably in a network or production company.
  • Experience managing a team, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products and other relevant software tools. Knowledge of Oracle, Kronos and Concur is beneficial
  • Ability to manage production budgets and perform budget forecasting and reporting.

Travel

  • Some remote production travel may be required

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • 40 hours a week; availability for early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Salary / Pay Range

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

Salary

$90,000 — $120,000 USD
