Paralegal - Intellectual Property

We are seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Paralegal to join our team. You will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks related to the patent prosecution process, including filing applications, maintaining records, and working with USPTO deadlines. The ideal candidate should possess strong judgment, a positive attitude, and a commitment to integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file patent applications with the USPTO.
  • Manage filing deadlines and other pertinent USPTO dates.
  • Maintain all records related to patent applications.
  • Provide assistance to attorneys in determining patent filing strategies.
  • Review patent documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct legal research as necessary.
  • Communicate with clients and answer inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Identify potential issues and provide solutions.
  • Ensure all information is kept confidential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Intellectual Property Paralegal.
  • Advanced knowledge of USPTO rules and regulations.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with Google Business Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
