Plans and implements a general music class for children, ages 6 to 11 in a day camp setting. Camps include instruction in two and three dimensional visual art, drama, dance and music, radio, video and creative writing.
Job Summary
Collaborate with other Arts Camp Staff
Attend to the health, safety and discipline of campers at all times, adhering to all Health Department protocols
Manage supplies and maintain an organized and safe classroom
Conduct well organized, age-appropriate classes and execute final sharing
Maintain positive customer relations with campers and their parents
Perform administrative tasks that support the efficient operations of the program
Qualifications
College degree or completing a degree in the arts, education or related field or equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills and ability to cooperate and collaborate with other artists
Responsible and reliable
Prior camp experience and experience teaching children
Availability
You must be available Monday through Thursday to work. Camp season runs June 12 to August 4 with a week of training before camp begins.
Weekly hours: Monday through Thursday, approx 9:30 to 3:30 pm

Starting at $18/ hour
