Marketing Manager

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Marketing and Events Manager to join our team remotely for a 6+ month contract, supporting a major eCommerce retail brand. This role involves driving marketing programs, managing event production and delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and high-impact event execution.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute marketing programs to build brand awareness and drive adoption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and regional teams to ensure consistent and impactful messaging across all event-related content.
• Manage the production and delivery of event deliverables, including content development, customer coordination, operational execution, and reporting.
• Create and maintain comprehensive event project plans, conduct regular checkpoints with deliverable owners, and escalate risks and challenges as needed.
• Provide editorial reviews for various content types across the organization.
• Work effectively across organizational boundaries to define, manage, and prioritize tasks and projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in marketing and event management.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to create and execute detailed project plans.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional and regional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively.
• Strong editorial skills for reviewing and refining content across various formats.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
