Job Description

The Manager, Physical Security & Anti-Fraud Operations reports directly to the Chief Compliance Officer. This position will play a key and critical role on behalf of facilitating actions pertaining to the implementation, reinforcement, and monitoring of compliance with physical security policies, standards, procedures, and processes for the organization. This position will also be engaged in leading and conducting internal investigations into fraud, security, safety, and personnel matters. This position collaborates with business representatives as appropriate to develop and deploy security standards and compliance across the business units they support worldwide.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

  • Conducts routine security policy & process audits and assessments and assures that remediation steps are taken. Participates as a key member of SOC 2, ISO 14001, and Sarbanes Oxley audits and remediation action plans.
  • Assists with leading the security & fraud incident response process across the enterprise to include workplace violence training/related events and investigations into fraud security and personnel matters.
  • Manages the deployment of uniformed security policies and processes across all facilities of Vericast, in conjunction with facility management. Manages vendors for security systems and uniformed security.
  • Liaises with law enforcement including criminal complaints, internal training support, and anti-theft projects.
  • Addresses other responsibilities as determined by the Chief Compliance Officer.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • Bachelors degree (Preferred)

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in physical security, investigations or similar security roles in law enforcement or the military is required. Relevant security certifications (PSP etc.) or willingness to obtain them
  • Ability to write policy and document security processes and controls
  • In-depth knowledge of security concepts
  • Superior quantitative and analytical skills for data modeling and analysis
  • High-level understanding of IT technologies such as application protocols, infrastructure, middleware, networking, load-balancing devices, and mainframe software and hardware
  • Experience in creating and managing strategic alliances both with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven background in organizational transformation as well as process definition and development
  • Must be able to command the attention and respect of resources during day-to-day activities and various situations

COMMUNICATION AND CONTACTS

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Position requires frequent contact with outside entities to include clients’ security and audit organizations and law enforcement.

DECISION MAKING

The Manager Physical Security and Anti-Fraud Operations will have decision-making authority. This person will report to the Chief Compliance Officer and will interface regularly with other Compliance leaders and management personnel. This position requires a high level of confidentiality and integrity.

Additional Information

Base salary: $100,000-$120,000

Position is eligible for an annual bonus incentive program.

The ultimate compensation offered for the position will depend upon several factors such as skill level, cost of living, experience, and responsibilities.
