Position Summary

The Manager of Health Economics will work with the Vice President, Reimbursement and Government Affairs to create a health economic publication portfolio for BioTissue’s products and develop a framework for BioTissue’s next-generation biologics program. The incumbent will lead the execution of real-world evidence collection, analysis, and dissemination that aligns with the Company’s short- and long-term strategies. Reporting to the Vice President, this position requires strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional colleagues.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The Manager of Health Economics will:

• Execute the real world evidence collection strategy, including analysis and dissemination that aligns with the Company’s short- and long-term strategies
• Become a subject matter expert on health economics and real-world evidence, sharing knowledge and providing informed evidence-based recommendations to other functions as needed
• Work with provider customers to identify real world evidence data for collection; secure agreements to extract data, and manage data analysis
• Work cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical, Marketing, and Sales to achieve evidence development and publications that align with BioTissue’s corporate strategy and compliance commitments
• Serve as the Market Access representative on BioTissue’s publication planning team,
• Take Ownership – from co-creating a strategy to data collection and publication
• Collaborate with other leaders to drive alignment to the company’s vital few priorities
  
  

Skills & Abilities

The successful candidate will have prior direct experience working with physician customers to collect and analyze outcomes data (clinical or health economics) and writing papers for publication or white papers for dissemination.

Position Expertise/Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of direct relevant experience (clinical, medical affairs, health economics or real-world evidence generation). Experience collecting de-identified patient-level data and working with internal stakeholders to analyze and publish outcomes is required. An advanced degree (Masters or higher) related to outcomes or health economics is not required but is desired.

Preferred experience, in addition to the requisite health economic. real-world evidence experience, includes:

• Experience with amniotic membrane or related products
• Experience with physician-administered biological products
• Direct sales experience
• Field reimbursement experience
