The Local Director, Political Demand will work closely with senior sales leadership to develop and manage relationships and development of client revenue and ad quality strategies, and the growth towards Magnite’s political revenue goals. As the first line of communication with prospects and clients, our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the sales process, researching leads, marketplace trends, curating new relationships, upselling current clients, and maintaining a diverse book of business.

In This Role, You Will

  • Partner with Head of Political Demand to develop new ideas, new products/ features, and new processes to drive superior client service and insight
  • Provide strategic and tactical consulting services regarding inventory access strategies, marketplace trends, and best practices
  • Create, implement, and own a sales pipeline
  • Develop strategies, processes, and new product requirements to drive superior service and insights for political accounts
  • Create and maintain strong and effective relationships with executive-level decision-makers, influencers, and key members of political ad operations
  • Develop marketplace insight through communicating with the broader team, cross-functional organizations, and appropriate Magnite leads
  • Drive in new business pitches, attend industry events, and present at conferences as needed

We’re Looking For Someone With

  • 6+ years of experience in adtech sales
  • BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • High level of integrity, excellent presentation, organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of programmatic buying and video adtech
  • Strong connections in the political ad tech space
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way
  • Strategic, analytical thinker who consistently challenges the status quo
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to translate strategic goals into plans and actionable objectives

In New York, the base salary range for this position is: $105,000 - $125,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
