Legal Internship

The Group Legal Business Team is responsible for the documentation and negotiation of De Lage Landen International’s material vendor agreements. We are also involved in regulatory research and project support for De Lage Landen International’s Executive Board and Global Business Units and Project Overlays and other Commercial domains.

We are looking for a law school intern who is willing to assist in managing a project to update all of our material vendor program agreements (Project). The Project’s goal is to bring the various agreements up to date on critical issues such as data privacy, cybersecurity, ESG reporting, sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist funding attributes.

Day to Day

• Managing our teams pages to make sure that Group Legal team members as well as stakeholders from other internal groups (Risk, Compliance & IT) have access to the relevant materials.
• Develop reporting for steering committees, executive board and other internal. stakeholders regarding the status of the Project review and assessment of sustainability regulations in the European Union and other jurisdictions.
• Develop updated drafts for vendor programs and engage in assessment of vendor responses, including internal escalation processes for assessment.
• Other documentation and regulatory development research and analysis.

• Second year law students are strongly preferred
• Transactional training, financial services work experience strongly preferred

Applicable Pay Range: $20/hour

DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.
