Kennedys, an international law firm with offices throughout the United States, is seeking a Legal Assistant/Secretary to support its Washington attorneys. This is a hybrid position with two days remote and three days in the office.
The annualized salary range for this role is $60,000 to $80,000; however, actual salary is contingent upon level of experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Drafting and Proofreading: Draft and proofread legal correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Calendaring: Manage the attorneys' calendar, scheduling appointments, court dates, and meetings efficiently.
- Filing: Execute filing procedures, ensuring compliance with legal protocols and deadlines.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in litigation, insurance coverage a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills and exceptional proofreading skills and a meticulous eye for detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Thorough working knowledge of and experience working and filing within the Federal and Washington court systems
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor
