Regional law firm specializing in energy law is seeking a Legal Assistant to join their team in Casper, WY. Role provides assistance in everything from regulatory compliance to litigation. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package offered!

Responsibilities:

- Work one-on-one with attorneys and paralegals.

- Maintain client files.

- Manage attorney calendars.

- Prepare and submit client intake forms.

- Input time daily for attorneys and yourself.

- Work on permitting and regulatory compliance for energy and mineral development.

- Proofread documents to ensure accuracy prior to filing/distributing.

- Draft correspondence and prepare shells for pleadings.

- Communicate with clients and other professionals regarding cases and to schedule appointments.

- Occasionally assist front desk with general office/administrative duties.

- Generate Table of Contents and Table of Authorities for legal briefs.

- Keep track of attorney CLE credit requirements and Bar Association renewals.

Qualifications:

- MUST be able to commute daily to the firm's office in Casper, WY.

- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience at a law firm.

- Associate's degree or equivalent preferred.

- Strong organizational, communication, and proofreading skills.

- Experience with estate planning documents is a plus.

- Proficiency in MS Office, document management software, and timekeeping software.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Able to focus in a busy environment.

- Typing speed of 65+ WPM.
