The Internal Communications Intern will play a vital role in supporting our internal communication strategies to enhance engagement and alignment within our organization. This position entails assisting with content creation, intranet management, and other key initiatives aimed at fostering a positive communication environment. As an Internal Communications Intern, you'll collaborate closely with our Internal Communications and Knowledge Management team on enhancing effective communication and supporting the development of our overall internal communications program.

The Internal Communications Intern will play a vital role in supporting our internal communication strategies to enhance engagement and alignment within our organization. This position entails assisting with content creation, intranet management, and other key initiatives aimed at fostering a positive communication environment. As an Internal Communications Intern, you'll collaborate closely with our Internal Communications and Knowledge Management team on enhancing effective communication and supporting the development of our overall internal communications program.
We’re excited to hire a new Internal Communications Intern who can:
- Write and edit internal communications materials, including newsletters, knowledge base posts, announcements
- Assist in updating and maintaining the company's intranet platform with relevant content and announcements
- Provide general administrative assistance to the internal communications team, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence
- Assist in collecting and analyzing data related to internal communications metrics, such as email open rates and employee engagement survey results
- Handle simple requests independently and support with more complex requests under guidance.
- Review and moderate supporting collateral for the internal knowledge base
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic understanding of graphic design principles and tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) (preferred)
- Basic understanding of HTML and web design (preferred)
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to communications, marketing, business administration, knowledge management, or a related field (preferred)

Compensation
- Estimated Salary Range: $15.38 to $20.28 hourly, The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications and experience.
