Intern - Entertainment

As part of the Entertainment Department, the Intern will assist in the success of the gameday experience in a variety of ways. Both on gameday and non-gamedays they will be responsible for a variety of entertainment aspects including home game activations, Street Team events and assisting with the various tasks and preparation for the Entertainment Office. The Milwaukee Brewers Entertainment Intern will also represent the Brewers in our community, supporting experiences throughout Milwaukee at local festivals, events, and mascot appearances.

Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to

• Correspondence and coordination of entertainment groups involved with the game day experience
• Maintaining department databases/equipment/storage facilities
• Provides assistance with the scheduling, and execution of weekend performances. (Drumlines and Clowns) \
• Assist with the execution of theme nights and between-innings promotions
• Assist in the set up and execution of all game day activities and promotions
• Assist with 4-1-Force and Brew Crew auditions
• Assist in the ideation and development of in-game elements, features, and promotions
• Monitor both industry and culturally-relevant trends that could be used to improve and enhance our in-game entertainment
• Set up UScellular Power Playground for all Brewers home games
• Assist in the gathering of all scoreboard content for a variety of departments.
• Help coordinate concourse activities, contests, and mascot involved events
• Assist with and execute pre and in-game promotions
• Partner with the Brewers Street Team and Mascots to represent the Club at public, private and community events
• Act as an ambassador of the Brewers organization, responding quickly and thoughtfully to situations that may arise with guests in the stands and our community, and ensuring a positive representation of the Club
• Help coordinate Milwaukee Brewers mascots through booking appearances, escorting mascots, doing laundry and in-game skits.
• Provide assistance to the Entertainment Department as needed

The ideal candidate will currently enrolled or a recent graduate from an accredited college or university pursuing a Business Administration, Communications, Sports Marketing/Administration, or Marketing degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
