Job Description

As an HR Generalist to the Distribution Center, you will be a key influencer in people, organization, and the success of the Distribution Center within Supply Chain. We grow our business and service our internal and external clients through our teams while developing them to higher performance and engagement. You will work closely with the Sr. Manager, HRBP and other HR colleagues in the Beauty Division, LVMH NA on the development and execution of Best Practice, Policies and Procedures, ensuring Group synergies, where appropriate. This is a mid-shift role with a start time of 11:30 am. There will be opportunity for work from home once a week.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

Talent Management

  • You will manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, fostering and maintaining employee relationships through coaching and advising, assist in organizational effectiveness efforts, as well as building consistency and compliance into daily HR related processes.
  • Provide tactical support to the hourly employee population.
  • Act as contact and coach to Distribution Supervisors & Managers.
  • Make recommendations for the HR strategy of the business area with a view to continuously improve.
  • Support Distribution Center management team for all engagement survey and action planning.
  • Ensure all policies and practices are aligned to support a diverse employee population and inclusive work culture
  • Draw conclusions and recommendations based on trends of HR data points – foster a test & learn mindset
  • Manage HR records and employee profiles in partnership with HR Coordinator

Employee Relations

  • Manage employee relations issues in partnership with Sr. Manager, HRBP
  • Oversee claims, conduct/support investigations, mediate contentious situations in partnership with the Benefits Center of Excellence
  • Manage all internal employee communications
  • Support organizational restructures in partnership with Sr. Manager, HRBP
  • Provide guidance, training and coaching to management team for all corrective actions process and procedures

Health and Safety

  • Partner and guide management team for all safety incidents and workers comp claims
  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory safety training.
  • Participate and present during bi-weekly and monthly safety meetings
  • Liaison with Concentra partners and Sedgwick for all workers comp claims
  • Initiate and see through workers comp claims through Sedgwick

Talent Acquisition

  • Manage recruiting needs in partnership with the Talent Team
  • Support temporary worker hiring and Job Fair events for Peak season hiring
  • Conduct new hire inductions for all Distribution Center employees
  • Ensure high priority roles receive the right amount of focus and that job profiles allow for a wide range of diverse candidates

Talent Development

  • Coach Supervisors and Managers in the Cranbury Distribution facility to be more effective leaders
  • Participate in key annual initiatives for client group; Individual Development Plans- Performance Review process
  • Facilitate continuous learning and development initiatives by collaborating with department heads to identify training needs, sourcing relevant resources, and coordinating workshops to enhance employee skill sets and foster professional growth
  • Support Cranbury management in onboarding and cross functional training plans for all hourly employees

Key Collaborations

  • Partner with BPC/Beauty Tech HRBP’s to streamline HR Processes, ensuring consistent service delivery and practices
  • Participate in BPC and division projects when needed to support HR Core Cycle processes
  • Support BPC/DC/Beauty Tech HRBPs in managing organization change initiatives
  • Partner with HR Operations COE for all HR Operational tasks

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Proven experience in Human Resources as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist
  • Ability to conceptualize and research new ideas. Detail-minded. Adaptable to change, with highly effective problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal, written & communications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Highly motivated & organized with good time management skills. Strong ability to plan and forecast.
  • Change management: ability to implement new processes and lead the change
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus

Additional Information

LVMH Inc. uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance and tenure.

While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $85,000.00 - $95,000.00.
