Hospital Pharmacist

Situated in the heart of Western Vermont, this 130+ bed short-term acute care hospital offers a wide range of medical services to patients in the community, including 25/7 Emergency Services, Women’s and Children’s Health, Oncology Services, Cardiovascular Care, and Orthopedics. This Joint Commission Accredited facility has also achieved awards in patient safety, outpatient joint replacement, and patient experience.

The Clinical Pharmacist will have the wonderful opportunity to join a strong team of experienced Pharmacists, Pharmacists in Charge, and Pharmacy Techs. Reporting to the Manager of Inpatient Pharmacy Services, the Hospital Pharmacist will prepare and dispense medication per hospital policies and procedures and serve as a resource to pharmacy techs and hospital staff, ensuring optimal patient care outcomes. Shift options available will be Days/Evenings, Nights, and Rotating Weekends/Holidays.

Requirements For The Inpatient Pharmacist Role Include

  • Bachelor's Degree and Completion of an Accredited College Pharmacy Program, Doctor of Pharmacy Pharm.D. highly preferred
  • Vermont State Pharmacist Licensure and Registration
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide pharmacy services for a diverse patient population
