Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Transportation & Logistics: This role oversees all commercial vehicles, and related assets, including their operations, conditions, external and internal policy compliance, and overall performance. This Fleet Manager will ensure our logistics network and vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and cost effectively.
Position Responsibilities
Procure vehicles, whether through lease, purchase, or other means, according to company requirements
Register, obtain licenses, prepare vehicle tax documents and insure the company’s vehicles
Secure vehicles and relevant assets
Partner and lead fleet maintenance programs both network and site specific, through accountability and opportunity for continuous improvement/cost savings
Management of the network Fleet Maintenance overall strategy to reduce cost, expand existing asset utilization and longevity of our fleet
Oversee vehicle inspection standards, maintenance, and servicing to minimize downtime and maintain compliance company wide
Organize, structure and maintain all vehicle information and inspection records for compliance
Reduce unnecessary expenses and increase fuel efficiency
Report fleet performance and finances to upper management
Collects, interprets, and analyzes various types of logistics data including availability, reliability of transport and delivery, and other data related to product supply chain management and distribution
Reviews logistics processes and procedures; identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to maximize delivery efficiency while minimizing costs
Reviews and analyzes transportation costs, parts procurement and delivery processes, inventory issues such as back orders, and other fulfillment metrics
Monitors industry standards, trends, or practices to identify developments in logistics planning or execution
Collaborates with logistics management team to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, or minimize cost

Requirements and Qualifications
Degree in logistics or accounting preferred
Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics/transportation industries
Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills
Analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities
Exceptional attention to detail
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Advanced Microsoft Office capability, Word/Excel
