Job Description

Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Firmware / Embedded Software Engineer to collaborate with an established and high-performance development team by contributing to leading edge firmware and manageability solutions.

This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid in Hillsboro, Oregon with onsite 3-5 days weekly. Relocation assistance and / or housing and incidental stipend may be offered.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $55.00 - $79.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and qualifications:

5-7 plus years of firmware / embedded Linux development experience.

Working knowledge of Linux Kernel programming and Linux driver development experience (JTAG, I2C, SPI).

Knowledge of low-level protocols including I2c, I3c, JTAG, SPI, eS.

Experience in x86 architecture.

Experience with Linux GCC build and debug tools.

Experience working in a fast-paced environment and is customer service driven, analytical, a strong communicator, problem solver, and self-starter.

Preferred:

3 plus years of manageability firmware experience.

BMC Firmware development experience (Dell iDRAC, Dell CMC, HP iLO, etc.).

Experience with Open-Source Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) Software Stack (OpenBMC).

Proficient with BMC functionalities and out of band management interfaces/protocols such as PECI, Redfish, and IPMI.

Proficiency in IPMI tool suite, with demonstrated knowledge of command sets, KVM, SOL, and remote connectivity methods.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
