Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

Overview

As an FP&A Analyst, you will support planning and decision-making processes by analyzing and transforming financial data, preparing comprehensive reports for senior decision-makers, maintaining strategic planning models, evaluating financial performance and trends, conducting profitability analysis, assessing strategic initiatives, and spearheading the development and implementation of business intelligence capabilities.

Job Description

  • Analyze and transform financial data to support planning and decision-making processes.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for senior decision-makers.
  • Maintain strategic planning models to support business growth.
  • Evaluate financial performance, trends, and profitability.
  • Assess strategic initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement business intelligence capabilities.
  • Lead the development of PowerBI dashboards for actionable insights.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial analysis with business objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify, transform, and evaluate financial information for senior decision-making processes.
  • Prepare company-wide and business-level financial and performance reports.
  • Conduct profitability analysis of production channels.
  • Report findings to senior management with actionable recommendations.
  • Evaluate strategic initiatives for organizational impact.
  • Develop and implement data warehouse solutions for business intelligence.

Qualifications

  • BA in Accounting or Finance; MBA strongly desired.
  • Three or more years of FP&A experience, preferably in banking or finance.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with PowerBI or similar tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of US GAAP and financial modeling.
