Executive Vice President of Finance

A leading global manufacturer has an exciting opportunity for a Vice President of Finance to join its dynamic team. The position is based in Beloit, WI.


In this pivotal role, you will act as a financial advisor to the Divisional President and leadership team, playing a crucial role in strategic planning and supporting organizational growth. Responsibilities include overseeing accounting operations, leading the budgeting process, and aligning information systems and human resources with company objectives.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to plan and optimize the organization’s financial performance.
  • Drive the implementation of a new ERP system for productivity improvements.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, providing financial input on decision-making.
  • Set a vision to guide company growth and address changing needs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting with a focus on internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and GAAP standards.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance compared to budget/forecast, implementing changes for improvement.
  • Maintain scalable accounting and control processes with clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
  • Develop and supervise staff, evaluating department effectiveness.
  • Manage the corporate information systems department and improve overall operation and productivity.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to develop compensation and benefit packages.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with an MBA preferred.
  • CMA or CPA certification is a plus.
  • Prior manufacturing industry experience required.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Technical accounting skills with demonstrated scalability in a growth or high-change business environment.
  • Ability to lead and develop teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Technical proficiency in the MS suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and efficient technology integration.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading or substantially contributing to company forecasting, including budget preparation and management, with a focus on building and thoughtful consideration rather than mere monitoring.
  • Proven commercial exposure in historical roles, such as customer interaction, reviewing pricing agreements, or analyzing product-level economics.
