Executive Operation Officer

What You'll Do

  • Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values
  • Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates
  • Performs functions of the role within an IMA office more than 50% of the time
  • Engages with Regional and Market President daily regarding status of company-wide projects and key initiatives. Drives Regional and Market President-driven initiatives. Provides organizational support to the Regional and Market President, helping to ensure action items, deadlines, and deliverables are completed
  • Works closely with communications team on presentations and all enterprise-wide communications from the Regional and Market President and helps prepare articles, columns, speaking engagements, and panel discussions
  • Manages executive team’s communication with the Regional and Market President and where appropriate addresses inquiries to determine proper course of action and delegate to appropriate resource
  • Maintains robust link between the Regional and Market President and senior leadership, acting as an internal proxy and manage issues proactively that are unanticipated but requires attention
  • Oversees the Regional and Market President strategic initiatives and manages the Strategic Projects Group
  • Manages all meeting requests coming from executive team members to the Regional and Market President to ensure meeting objectives are clear and realistic, all parties know their role and are prepared, and has appropriate background information and is briefed on all issues
  • Assists Regional and Market President in preparing quarterly strategic executive meetings, annual shareholder meetings, and other key strategy engagements regarding company and strategic objectives
  • Manages the New York administrative team

You Should Have

  • Five to 10 number of years of similar or related experience
  • Experience with MS Office products preferred (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Limited travel required (less than 25%)
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Displays excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong attention to detail and organizational skills required
  • The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the job
  • Possesses sound judgment, maturity, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Demonstrates a professional and resourceful style with the ability to work independently and as a team player, to take initiative and manage multiple tasks, relationships, and projects

Salary Range

$125,000—$170,000 USD
