Entry Level Litigation Attorney

Job Description

As an Entry Level Litigation Attorney at our firm, you will play a pivotal role in assisting with various aspects of litigation cases. We welcome candidates with 0-3 years of experience in any of the practice areas mentioned above, and we also consider applicants with experience in all areas of litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to ongoing cases.
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
• Assist with case preparation, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations under the supervision of senior attorneys.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies as needed.
• Participate in case strategy meetings and contribute ideas for case advancement.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective case management and client satisfaction.
  
  

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Alabama (or willingness to obtain admission promptly).
• Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated interest in litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Prior experience in personal injury law or related litigation is preferred but not required.
