Role Description
This is a full-time role as a Due Diligence Landman at Veracity Land Services, LLC. The Due Diligence Landman will be responsible for conducting extensive research and analysis on land titles, ownership, and legal documents. They will review lease agreements, contracts, and other relevant documents to ensure compliance and accuracy. This role will also involve collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather necessary data and information. While the role is primarily located in the Permian Basin there is flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of land title research and due diligence processes
Minimum 2-3 years landman experience
Proficiency in interpreting legal documents and contracts
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis
Task-oriented
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Experience with GIS mapping and land management software is a plus
Knowledge of the oil and energy industry is preferred
Bachelor's degree in Land Management or a related field is preferred
AAPL membership and certification is preferred
