Role Description
TheDirectorof SaleswillhaveresponsibilitytoensurethatAAR Component Services and Landing Gear remainscompetitiveinthe market. The main goals will be to capture new customer revenue, organic growth with current customers, support New Product Development pipeline, provide competitive and market intelligence, and stay abreast of related industry trends.
What You Will Be Responsible For
AssureAARscompetitivenessinthemarket by providing market and competitive analysis and feedback to the operations teams.
LiaisetokeepAARahead of industry trends.
Work to procure new business, including new customers as well as new part numbers/products from existing customers, and develop key partner relationships to establish AAR as the supplier of choice.
Promote the mission, vision and values that AAR has developed in order to maintain a strong relationship with our employees, customersandstockholders.
Ensurethatemployeeshavetheskills needed to perform their job in order for the group to achieve the goals and objective desired.
Develop the employees in yourgroupinorderforthemtoimprovetheirabilitytomeetchangesintheirjobrequirementsandinemployee/customer demands.
Interface with other Divisional Managers as required during the applicable decision-making process.
All other duties as assigned.
What will you need to be successful in this role:
BachelorofArtsdegree(B.A.)orBachelorofSciencedegree(B.S.)fromfour-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Aerospace industry experience is of great value.
Good analytical skills.
Excellent sales and presentations skills.
