WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?


RealTime’s Director of Product Management will develop and execute the overall strategy for the products under his/her responsibility, directing the product lifecycle, including long- and short-term development. As a business leader, the Director of Product will be focused on the product roadmap and the business's overall performance. In addition, the role will provide leadership, direction, and strategy to Product Managers on the team. This role will work closely with our Software Developers, internal stakeholders, and clients to ensure continuous innovation and an excellent end-user experience.


WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?


  • Defines team goals and strategy in line with organizational objectives and strategies; communicates and aligns with senior leaders on an ongoing basis.
  • Leads design and feature development within an Agile environment.
  • Communicate with customers and both internal and external experts to understand the pain points of existing processes and solutions.
  • Ensures product managers are gaining feedback to solve customer and market problems.
  • Speak to customers and internal stakeholders to promote the product and validate the direction of the features for which you are responsible.
  • Understands how the product compares to competitors in the market; helps Marketing leverage this information in positioning; incorporates this knowledge into the product direction and roadmap.
  • Works with Marketing to develop external messaging and positioning for key product features.
  • Plays a key leadership role in going above and beyond own team to actively mentor more junior leaders and support rising talent identification/growth across departments and company.
  • Maintains high integrity and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Maintains compliance with company policies and procedures regarding the HIPAA Privacy Rule. This role may view protected health information (PHI) as part of daily duties.


WHAT DO YOU NEED?


  •  5+ years of experience as a product manager
  • 5+ years working on Clinical Trial Software
  • 2+ years of managing product management professionals.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills that are used to enable internal stakeholders and customers on new features.
  • Great leadership skills to coach and mentor team members
  • Experience working in an Agile software design and development environment
  •  Extremely organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize work in a fast-paced climate.
  • A high degree of creativity and autonomy


WHAT SETS YOU APART?


  • Experience with software that supports Clinical Trials
  • Pragmatic Marketing Certification
  • Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers at scale.
  • 3+ years of experience within the clinical research industry or medical field
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or information technology fields
