Groves Academy, located in idyllic St. Louis Park, MN is the leading school in the Midwest for students who have learning disabilities such as dyslexia, ADHD, executive function challenges, and other language-based learning disabilities. They serve as a beacon for students who want to learn but are challenged with a learning disability that affects their academic achievement.
The Academy is one part of the larger Groves Learning Organization, a nonprofit educational ecosystem with a rich history of supporting bright students who struggle with learning disabilities and attention disorders, as well as promoting evidence-based literacy instruction for all. Groves Learning Organization is the only one of its kind in the region.
Groves Academy seeks a Director of Learning/Head of School who will effectively lead the day-to-day operations of the Academy while also cultivating an ethos of care, inspiring a relentless pursuit of innovative practice and a culture of possibility. This position is open to start in the 2025-2026 school year. The role being primarily responsible for teaching and learning, will also be the voice of inspiration and force behind professional learning. As this role does not have responsibility for Admissions or Development, it’s an ideal position for a seasoned Division Director with aspirations for a future Head of School role.
