The Massachusetts eHealth Institute (MeHI) is the designated state agency for growing the digital health ecosystem in Massachusetts. The Healthcare Innovation Team within MeHI is focused on catalyzing healthcare innovation, technology, and competitiveness to improve the safety, quality and efficiency of healthcare in Massachusetts. We are seeking someone to join our team who is passionate about driving healthcare innovation and who wants to be an active part of the Massachusetts digital health ecosystem. The Digital Health Project Manager will be responsible for:
Ecosystem Engagement
Develop and maintain an understanding of the Massachusetts healthcare, digital health and innovation landscapes, including emerging trends and legislative healthcare priorities;
Build and maintain relationships with participants in the Sandbox Network Program, including Sandboxes, program alumni, and prospective program participants;
Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and other stakeholders in the Massachusetts digital health and innovation ecosystems. Track relationships and activities in MeHI's Salesforce directory;
Work with the Director, Digital Health Innovation and MeHI Director to identify funding opportunities and to develop and propose new program concepts;
Represent the division and its program at external ecosystem events;
Assist in updating and maintaining the catalog of Massachusetts digital health ecosystem stakeholders and resources. This includes reviewing, updating, and maintaining data in MeHI's Salesforce directory.
Project Management
Work with the Director, Digital Health Innovation to develop and execute annual startup challenges under the MeHI Sandbox Program;
Develop, and execute new projects to support the innovation activities of the division as guided by the Director, Digital Health Innovation;
Organize and lead internal and external meetings to support on-going projects;
Develop, adapt, and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences on existing programs, project outcomes, and new project proposals;
Develop content for, coordinate, and execute on webinars aimed at key audiences including Sandbox program alumni, digital health entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, and others;
Track and analyze key performance indicators for MeHI Innovation projects and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in healthcare, technology, or related field or equivalent work experience
Experience
A minimum of three years of progressive work experience in a healthcare technology or innovation ecosystem position, in the private or public sectors
Successful project management experience is required
Proven experience in community or membership engagement and management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Outstanding attention to detail and a keen focus on producing accurate, high-quality work
Demonstrated ability to design and manage projects to successful completion
Demonstrated ability and desire to communicate and engage with a variety of constituencies across community, industry, and political domains
Ability to adapt writing and presentation skills based on the priorities of the audience
Demonstrated ability to develop concise and compelling PowerPoint presentations
Ability to work successfully and collaboratively as part of a team and with multiple stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office
Ability to travel within Massachusetts to attend offsite events. Please note, some events are not accessible by public transportation
