This is going to be on site for 5 days a week and there is no flexibility around this. This is a service desk position, where the candidate will be responsible for phone/email ticket support for everything that the client does. Someone that has great communication skills is a must, in addition to being in and IT Support role or desktop role for 5 + years. This is a 6 month contract to hire, and this person will convert! In addition, you must be able to work W-2!

Must haves:
5 years of experience in an IT support or desktop support role
5 years of experience with Tier 1 troubleshooting (Cisco or Webex, Teams, Zoom)
Microsoft Office products
5 years of experience with any ticketing system (Client uses Sys-Aid) however- Remedy, Jira, ServiceNow are suitable alternatives
3-5 years of experience with deskside support (Hardware setup, conference room set up, monitor/desk set up)
Previous Audio/Visual technician experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office365
Windows support
Strong time management skills and ability to function at a high level
Experience with VDI environments and troubleshooting them

Day-to-day:
Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Support Technician in the Kansas City area to report to the Plaza area 5 days a week. This position will be focused on Help Desk/Desktop tickets to help resolve software, hardware, O365 and mobile device issues. This position will also be responsible for some conference room set up as well as desk moves. Occasional travel to other locations will be required a few times a year. The ideal candidate will have a desktop technician background possessing high quality customer service skills.
