Determines suitability of customers’ impressions for CT Scanning process (excludes impressions with metal trays).
Utilizes designated system and software to scan impressions.
Positions impression under the correct angle before scanning.
Monitors scanning process on computer screen and reviews model on computer monitor to prepare for design.
Performs quality control checks on scans , ensuring a clear image.
Reviews all parameters in design software ensuring the impression or model meets protocol standards in order to proceed on the case.
Digitally prepares scan for design process by making any required adjustments on the restoration site using the design software.
Verifies logged in inputs match ones listed on RX
Prepares and sends accurately completed scans to design process and the correct Cloud Point workflow.
Tests CT software and hardware; validates and calibrates systems and equipment as needed.
Assists in various tasks relating to the CT Scan process.
Communicates with colleagues and managers in a prompt articulate manner.
Works closely with quality control specialists and addresses all issues regarding quality standards.
Follows quality standard protocol.
Relies on technical knowledge to make decisions and accomplish departmental goals.
Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management
Education And Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous dental technician or dental technology training required.
Prior dental work experience or background, a plus.
Previous experience working in positions that require hand and finger dexterity, a plus.
Pay Range:$17.00-$23.00/hour
