We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Coordinator of Basketball Operations to join our team! The Coordinator, Basketball Operations is integral to the Team Administration function, primarily supporting the VP, Basketball Operations/Assistant GM. This role focuses on administrative support, process management, and facilitating effective communication across various functions within Basketball Operations. Key responsibilities include creating and managing templates, documents, and processes, assisting with operational data reporting, coordinating project timelines, supporting operational systems, and providing administrative support for meetings.

What You Will Do

  • Assist the VP, Basketball Operations/Assistant GM with various administrative tasks, including document creation, management, and template design
  • Handle the organization and maintenance of operational documents and records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
  • Prepare and manage templates and standardized documents used across Basketball Operations
  • Act as a key player in identifying inefficiencies within administrative and operational processes
  • Prepare materials for meetings and handle confidential information with discretion
  • Create and distribute regular reports that provide insights into operational effectiveness and support decision-making
  • Assist in coordinating and tracking project timelines and deliverables within Basketball Operations
  • Facilitate communication among project teams and support the Manager, Team Administration in tracking progress and reporting updates
  • Manage and support the use of operational systems and tools that enhance the team's productivity and communication
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for internal meetings, ensuring smooth coordination and preparation
  • Assist in preparing materials and coordinating with relevant stakeholders for operational meetings

What We Need From Our Coordinator, Basketball Operations

  • Strong organizational ability with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software tools
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Experience in an administrative or operational support role, preferably within a sports or high-performance environment
  • High level of discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

Experience/ Education Requirements

  • Four-year college degree (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar support role
