Compliance Officer (Remote - US)

The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that Caesarstone’s North American affiliate fabricator network adheres to Employee Health and Safety (EHS) standards, OSHA regulations, environmental regulations, business ethics, and employee-employer relations in the USA and Canada. This position requires conducting onsite audits across North America and engaging in follow-up actions to ensure compliance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Audit Management: Conduct onsite audits of affiliate countertop fabricators to assess compliance with EHS standards and other regulations including OSHA.
  • Corrective Action Plans: Support fabricators in developing and implementing appropriate Corrective Action Plans (CAP) based on audit findings.
  • Documentation and Validation: Validate fabricators’ corrective actions to ensure thorough resolution and closure of CAP points.
  • Collaboration and Training: Work closely with Caesarstone’s Managed Program Coordinator Team to support audits and lead knowledge training sessions to enhance team competency.
  • Recruitment and Screening: Screen candidates for Caesarstone’s affiliate network for compliance and IWAY eligibility.
  • Continuous Learning: Attend trainings to continually grow in industry knowledge and maintain up-to-date compliance practices

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This role is based in an office environment but involves extensive travel for audits.
  • Interaction with various teams and external partners is frequent and requires a strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively

Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred or significant on-the-job experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in EHS, OSHA audits, or a similar compliance role. Familiarity with IKEA IWAY standards is beneficial.
  • High degree of independence and discipline in managing work schedules.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple workstreams while traveling.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for regular interface with various stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to drive compliance and deliver business consequences of non-compliance effectively.
  • Competency in presenting and knowledge sharing with teams.

What We Offer

  • The base salary for this role is between $65,000 - $75,000 including bonus structure
