The position of the Compliance Administrator requires the administrator to address multiple areas including but not limited to processing of notice of adverse action letters (NOAAs), bankruptcy notification handling and review, distribution and escalation of complaints, legal and compliance inquiries, internal and external audit responses, assisting in testing and monitoring, maintaining regulatory reporting and recordkeeping requirements.


  • Access LMS to review individual decline accounts to determine brand and if notice of adverse action letter is required. Prepare letters/emails by brand to be sent to applicable consumers.
  • Receive, review, and process all bankruptcy related notices to include account notation within the Vergent Loan Management software and proof of claim filings.
  • Prepare weekly reports detailing bankruptcy documents received and actions taken to be provided to the Compliance Team.
  • Handle all emailed/voicemail complaints received and input the complaint into the Complaint Management software.
  • Answer all voice mail inquiries by calling the consumer back or reaching out to the store location to advise store personnel to call.
  • Escalate fraud, all state, and federal regulatory complaints to the compliance team for further review.
  • Manage internal legal and compliance tickets submitted within the company automated ticketing system and ensure team completion of task in a timely manner.
  • Assist legal, compliance, and store personnel with the gathering supporting documentation, compiling audit responses, and tracking remediation and corrective actions.
  • Assist testing and monitoring in ensuring compliance to regulatory and internal policy and procedures through the regular review of third-party systems of record, transactions, store procedures, website, and marketing collateral, call monitoring, DNC opt in and out reporting, and any other functions conducted by line of business that require audit.
  • Ensure reporting of suspicious activity reports, currency transaction reports, OFAC alerts,
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Exceptional analytical, writing, and speaking skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interact with Corporate Management Staff.
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
  • Strong team player, able to be flexible with multiple priorities and changing circumstances.
  • Demonstrated computer skills in Excel, Word, EOSCAR, JIRA third party software, Veritec state databases, general computer use.
  • Excellent judgmental, problem solving, prioritization and planning skills.


Education and Experience


  • Experience with handling multiple detailed projects at the same time.
  • Working knowledge of bankruptcy processes.
