The Team

Enfusion’s Legal team is an international legal department of 9 attorneys who act as business forward and pragmatic partners to Enfusion’s entire business. We don’t find problems that act as hurdles to our business or strategy, but, rather, we proactively find solutions and bring a macro perspective that uniquely spans across all aspects of Enfusion’s operations. While our primary focus is on Enfusion’s legal operations, we work tirelessly to support Enfusion’s growth in a way that is both collaborative and risk-sensitive. The Role

Enfusion is looking for an exceptional attorney to join our team as Legal Counsel. The Legal Counsel position is ideal for a self-sufficient and resourceful legal leader and is open to candidates located anywhere in the United States. Reporting to Enfusion’s Associate General Counsel – Commercial, this role offers a unique opportunity to support Enfusion’s commercial contracting and partnership agreements in EMEA and across the globe. More specifically, you will partner directly with internal stakeholders in Sales, Account Management, and Enfusion’s Global Partnership team to provide front-line legal advice and support. In your role, you will also engage with Enfusion clients and their counsel to drive positive outcomes. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who demonstrates a strong desire to learn, issue spot, and synthesize the complex into clear, actionable next steps. Moreover, we’re looking for someone with high character, and an equally high emotional quotient (EQ), that is driven to do things the right way.

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with Enfusion Sales, Account Management, and Enfusion’s Global Partnership and Alliances teams to stand up, negotiate, and close transactions with prospective clients, existing clients, and other third parties
• Work with other Enfusion departments to improve processes, internal controls and create efficiencies
• Exercise superb judgment working with Enfusion clients, service providers, and counterparties on legal issues that positively contribute to Enfusion’s continued growth and success
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements, including master service agreements, license agreements, referral agreements, NDAs, and other vendor agreements
• Identify, research, analyze, and advise teams on a range of relevant legal issues
• Communicate complex legal concepts in simple terms
• Pacific Time Zone, or candidates willing to work Pacific Time Zone hours preferred
  
  

Who We Need

• Juris Doctor and qualified to practice law, in good standing, in at least one U.S. State
• 3+ years of experience working in a law firm or in-house legal department
• Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to interact with senior management, C-Suite executives, and other internal and external stakeholders
• Understanding of contract best practices, including general understanding of intellectual property, capital markets, and data privacy issues
• Analytically-minded with a creative problem-solving approach
• Strong business acumen and ability to quickly exercise good business judgment
• Self-starter with excellent responsiveness and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• FinTech experience, including SaaS sales contracting, and/or financial services experience a plus, but not a requirement
  
  

The salary for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 + bonus + benefits.
