Billing Manager
Minimum five (5) years of experience in leadership role with demonstrated Revenue Cycle success. Minimum five (5) years of experience in Medical Billing, Patient Accounting, or related area. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Management or Related Field-Preferred. Will consider relevant Revenue Cycle experience. High School Diploma or GED required. Proficient with Windows Applications including MS Word, and MS Excel. Working Knowledge of All Scripts, Paragon, Athena, and other EMR systems desirable. Effective Oral and Written Communications Skills. Knowledge of all aspects of a Health System Revenue Cycle-Preferred. Ability to build positive working relationships within the department and with others in the organization.
The Billing Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of their assigned Business Office team. The areas of responsibilities include Insurance Claims Billing, Insurance Follow-up/Collections and Denials and Cash Postings. The Manager will monitor staff productivity, adherence to departmental policies and processes, while achieving best practice Revenue Cycle metrics.
